This variety has oval to heart-shaped leaves in a frosty blue color with wide yellow margins that fade with age. Grows 12 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. Blooms appear in summer and reach 16 inches tall. Hostas like part to full shade and average well-drained soil. They make great additions to the shade garden and can even be used as a groundcover.

‘Hanky Panky’  A natural sport of ‘Striptease’. Emerges in the spring with dark green leaves edged with a pale lime edge. An ivory halo separates the center from the margin. As the summer progresses, the center brightens to a creamy-yellow color as the ‘Strip tease­ pattern’ changes to a dark green and the margin then becomes near white. Lavender flowers top the vigorous clump in midsummer.

‘Hosta Heatwave’  The leaves of this hosta are blue margined with bright chartreuse centers. As the growing season progresses the chartreuse will intensify. The leaves have a thick and puckered texture and the flowers of the plant are white. It is an improved sport of Hosta Bright Lights. This is a medium sized host with leaves reaching 12” and flowers topping out at 16”.

Whirlwind.jpg 'Whirlwind'   A standout in any Hosta collec­tion for its variegation and wavy, unruly mound habit. The leaf center undergoes continual color changes, being white with greenish tints early slowly becoming pale green, then darker green.  The shiny, dark green margin offers a nice contrast to the center even when it is pale green. Has a fast growth rate and makes a nice specimen, but also effective as a ground cover. Grows 19" high and up to 40" wide. Leaves are 8" long by 6" wide Lavender flowers in mid-summer. Very distinctive and attractive!

Grows 23 inches tall and spreads 38 inches. Takes part to full shade and an average well-drained soil. Blooms white flowers in mid-summer that reach 26-29 inches tall. The leaves unfold slowly giving them a cupped look. Leaves are thick, giving them a little more resistance to the slugs and snails. Great for woodland gardens.
