Chilibeanalwerdt!!We are very sad to say that our beloved Chili Bean passed away last fall.  He was our official greeter at the Gardens.
He was always happy to greet our customers with a big smile on his sweetiepie face!  When not greeting customers he could most probably be found in a golf cart or laying on the shop floor in front of the checkout counters, but most definitely never in the way.  I know that Chili will be missed by everyone but most especially by his sometimes girlfriend Eleanor, Mike H's Scottie and Crystal, who said he was the best friend she ever had at Alwerdts.  He probably won't be missed however, by the truckdriver whose McDonald's breakfast, coffee and lit cigarette he ate one morning.

Bailey Alwerdt!!!!       

Meet the newest addition To the Gardens.   Bailey is eight weeks old in these top two pictures.  He was born on October 17, 2009.

                           











  Bailey will be taking over Chili Beans job as the official Alwerdts Greeter.  We know he will be just as sweet as Chili Bean and will perform his job to his upmost abilities.

 

Bailey loves to ride in the golf carts just like Chili Bean.  He is an avid swimmer and loves bathtime(unlike Chili Bean).  Bailey will be waiting to greet you come April 1st. 



 TRASHER!!!

Otherwise known as Mystery Kitty.  You will rarely see this furry feline critter.  He moves fast and is very wary of too much attention.  If you do get a chance to pet Trasher you will find that he has one of the biggest purrs that you will ever hear.Trasher was live trapped as a tiny kitten from the neighbors trash pile four years ago in the month of November.  He grew up with Chili Bean so he acts more like a dog than most kittys.
