Brian... is our Operations Manager and is in charge of the Landscaping Crew. He has been with us for ten years. He has a BS Degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture.

Beth... she has worked for us for nine years. She has an Associates Degree in Ag Business and Horticulture. She works in the retail shop and worked on the Landscape Crew for years, so she can help you with just about anything! |

She's back..... and she's better then ever!!!
Ann has come back to the gardening fold. She left us for a bit to perform missionary work in Panama where she braved Tarantulas, poisonous snakes, mosquitoe nets an endless trips upriver, through the jungle, in a canoe (once with her refigerator ) to help them build their facilities. But she's come back to the fold and everyone is HAPPY!!! |
Henry... our main man!!! Henry has worked for us for 19 years. WOW!!! I can't believe it as I am typing it. He must really like his co-workers. Actually, Henry loves his plants and he grows a lot of his own. He maintains our display gardens. Chief Gardener! |

| Cheryl*!!! Cheryl is one of our dearest and most special friends. She has worked at Alwerdts Gardens for 18 years. Without Cheryl the business would not be what it is today. She is an invaluable friend and worker. Most importantly, she always has a smile on her face or is laughing with you!!! |
Wilma ... everyone knows Wilma. She has been in the plant business all her life. Really! Grew up on a farm, recieved a degree of Horticulture from the University of Illinois, and worked at Burklands Greenhouse and Nosbisch Nursery before working with us. We are glad to have her here with us because she has more patience and is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable person that an employer could ever hope to have working for them! |

| Christopher... sometimes known as Chrissie.. has been with us as for four years now. He is an extremely conscienctious and hard working young person. We are so glad that he and his Dad decided not to work together. Mike's loss!! LOL!!!!! |
She has been with us for almost a year and I didn't think she would make it more than a month. Just goes to show you how wrong our perceptions of people can be. Julie is not just another pretty face. She has a natural green thumb and a quick study. Everyone here loves her and we know you will too!!! |

Mary D..... what can we say about Mary?
Well she is our main weekend cashier, she does her job very well, she is a bundle of fun, everyone loves her and we wish we could afford her full time. She could be hanging out with Ruthie or Kay at Burklands, but she comes here to be with all of us at Alwerdts so I guess we are doing something right and hope we can keep it up because we need her! |
Our newest girl is Jacque. She has a degree in horticulture and she seems to like all plants. Even some suspect dogs!!! She is very attentive to customers and is rapidly gaining the same status that Wilma has as "the very helpful and knowledgeable lady". We'll be calling her Wilma #2 soon!! |
